It is unfortuante that the American Society as a whole has abandoned one of mans most useful tools of communication, the beautiful art of penmanship. Even though we have the computer and printing press, we still should preserve the art of writing by hand. A handwritten letter or paragraph gives the message a personalized touch, one that cannot be accomplished via typewriter or e-mail. Beautiful penmanship symbolizes beauty and harmony in a world of chaos. I believe that the art of penmanship should be implemented into the curriculum of our youth once again.
