This is a beautiful example of modern cursive handwriting by E. C. Mills, from his book, Modern Business Penmanship, published in 1903. This style was also known as “Modern Business Writing.” The Palmer Method is very similar. (Palmer did not personally develop either the style or the method. Several other penmanship experts published works in this general style, years before Palmer published his own exemplars.)
